BrightBalance is designed to support clear navigation, readable content and common assistive technologies. This is a statement of design intent, not a certification or a claim of complete conformity with an accessibility standard.
02. Features in this version
- A skip-to-content link and semantic page headings.
- Keyboard-operable links, buttons and native form controls.
- Labels for calculator inputs and a live update for the estimated payment.
- A control to pause ongoing decorative motion, plus support for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
- Layouts that adapt to smaller screens and browser zoom.
03. Known limits
Full independent assistive-technology and accessibility auditing has not been completed. External authentication pages and third-party services may have separate accessibility features or limitations. Some decorative illustrations do not convey financial data beyond their accompanying text.
04. Report a barrier
Email info@getbrightbalance.org with the subject "Accessibility". Include the page, what you were trying to do, your browser or assistive technology if relevant, and the format of help you need. Do not include sensitive financial information. We have not established a guaranteed response time.
