01. Scope and operator
BrightBalance is operated by MAE ESTATE INVESTMENTS LLC ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy describes the current informational website and calculator. It does not describe a loan application, servicing platform or credit-report service.

02. Information you provide
The calculator uses the balance, interest rate and repayment period you enter. Those values are processed in your browser, are not submitted by the calculator to our servers and are not retained by the application after you leave or refresh the page.
If you email us, your email provider and the receiving mail provider process your message. Your address, message and any attachments may be available to the people handling your request. Only include information needed to answer your question.
03. Technical information and third parties
Delivering the website may involve the processing of an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral information and security logs by the hosting infrastructure. The private hosted version may require a ChatGPT sign-in; the authentication provider manages that process under its own terms.
The site loads typefaces through Google Fonts. Your browser requests font resources from Google, which receives technical request information such as your IP address. These requests are separate from the calculator. See Google’s Privacy Policy and OpenAI’s Privacy Policy for relevant provider practices.
No advertising pixel, analytics SDK, newsletter form or lead-sharing integration is installed in the current BrightBalance application code. This statement does not describe independent practices of hosting, email or authentication providers.
04. Purposes and disclosure
Information may be used to deliver and protect the website, troubleshoot problems and respond to correspondence. The current website does not send calculator entries to lenders, credit bureaus, advertisers or lead buyers.
Providers involved in hosting, authentication or email may process information needed to perform their services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law. No sale or sharing of calculator entries is implemented in this website.
05. Retention and security
Calculator values stay in page memory rather than an application database. Email correspondence and provider logs may remain in those systems. Their retention periods and the company’s approved correspondence-retention schedule must be confirmed before this policy is finalized.
No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not use the contact address to send sensitive financial records or login credentials.
06. Your choices and requests
Depending on your location and the laws that apply to the company, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection or restrictions on processing. These rights can be subject to exceptions and identity verification.
Send a request to info@getbrightbalance.org with the subject "Privacy request" and describe the information or action concerned. Do not attach government identification unless a suitable verification process is separately provided. If applicable law provides an appeal, you may request a review using the subject "Privacy appeal". Statutory rights and deadlines are not limited by this notice.
The current application does not use targeted-advertising technology or sell calculator entries. It does not implement a separate Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track response because no corresponding optional tracking is installed. Provider-controlled tracking or authentication is governed separately. Browser controls may restrict cookies or external resources.
07. Children and international access
This website is intended for adults considering financial information, not for children. Do not provide information about a child through the contact address. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
Hosting and email providers may process information in different countries. Locations, transfer safeguards and jurisdiction-specific requirements must be confirmed before operating a consumer-data collection service.
08. Changes
This policy should be updated when the website’s data practices change. Any future applications, analytics, marketing or lender referrals require an updated notice and any choices or consent required by applicable law. The revision date at the top identifies this draft.
